Happy Tuesday, 

Today I want to give you motivation and inspiration. 

These two things are what keeps me moving toward my goals. 

These words helped start this blog, and continually aid me in seeing my dreams and visions manifest into the things I want. 

My journey started with dreams and visions, but it is action that set them a part. 

My last blog post talked about why I started my blog, but this blog post focuses on the action I took to accomplish it.  

A wonderful quote by Walt Disney that signifies the essence of this post, "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." 

We can be our own worst enemy when it comes to getting things done. We get in our own way by letting our pride, fears, self-doubt, and excuses take control. This is a natural thing to do, but it is action that makes a world of a difference. 

Do you remember in my last post how I mentioned that I should have started my blog years ago? Well that is a prime example of what I am talking about when it comes to getting in your own way. This will hinder one from success and personal satisfaction, and nobody wants that. 

There will be more personal growth and development challenges down the road that I will have to personally overcome; however, I know I have made great progress thus far, and that is a milestone to celebrate in my book. There is so much more that I want to accomplish with my brand and business I have designed that I cannot fathom the idea of quitting now. 

I wanted to share this with you all because I know you have been just like me at some point. I hope that whatever it is you are setting out to do, whether it is a blog, earning a promotion, or losing weight, you have got this!

Why wait? Just start now! 

Word to the wise, just get our of your own way. Swallow your pride, fears, doubts, and excuses. It is always easier said than done, but the act alone of starting the whole process is better than no action at all.
