Spring is right around the corner, believe it or not; therefore, this is the perfect time to start talking Makeup Trends for Spring 2016! In order to highlight these spring trends, I decided to use Arbonne makeup as the featured products. For those of you who have never heard of Arbonne, it is a botanically based beauty and wellness company that produces superior Swiss products that are pure, safe, and beneficial. Now onto the Makeup Trends of Spring 2016! After much reading around through well-known beauty magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Cosmopolitan just to name a few of the many, I came up with a general top 5 that seem to be repeating itself on the runway.
Bronze.
The Bronze look is in for Spring 2016. This is actually one of my preferred looks for skin and eyes, especially during spring and summer. I am a firm believer that everyone looks better with a tan. I love the radiant and glowing appearance of a bronze makeup look. Shimmering nudes, golds, browns, and coppers are colors to help achieve this look. Pictured above is Arbonne's Bronzer and Blush in "Sunset." Apply evenly to face and cheeks for a bronze highlight.
Black Liner.
Spring 2016 is the perfect season to get bold and eccentric with your eyeliner. Create some fun, eye-catching lines if you dare, or apply along the lash and water line for a simply, lined eye. Pictured above is Arbonne's Eyeliner in Ebony and Liquid Liner in Black
Vampy Lips.
Vampy lips are not just for Fall! This is so exciting because I never get tired of a dark, moody lipstick. You can still get away with this dramatic lip this Spring. Pictured above is Arbonne's Lipstick in "Iris" and "Dahlia," lip gloss in "Hyacinth," lip liner in "Berry." Create a solid lip color or go for ombré.
Sunset Pink Eyes.
Light pinks and nudes, reminiscent of a sunset, are hot colors for eye shadows this spring season. Mauve colors have really been a hit in fashion and beauty; therefore, it is no surprise that this trend transformed into a lighter eye for the spring. Pictured above is Arbonne's Eye Shadow in "Linen" and "Petal."
Slate Blue Eyes.
A variation of blue eye shadow is actually a popular trend this spring. It is possible to make blue eye shadow wearable. I like to make slate blue eyes wearable by doing a smokey eye and building a gradient effect, by using my blender brush. Blend away! Pictured above is Arbonne's Eye Shadow in "Blue Slate" and "Ocean."
